One of the best ways to reach your fitness goal is to enjoy the time spent getting there. If you've struggled to find the joy of fitness or haven't experienced the rush of a challenging workout, then group exercise classes are your best bet.

Carolina Woman prides itself on offering its members a broad assortment of the most popular group exercise classes that meet the needs of both beginners and advanced trainers. More importantly, we guarantee you will have fun along the way.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

CYCLE/SCULPT: 30 minutes of cycl ing, 30 minutes of sculpting—the perfect combination to burn fat and tone muscles.

GROUP ACTIVE (GA): Activate your life in only one hour! Incorporating all elements of fitness, Group Active will increase your cardio fitness, build your strength and improve balance and flexibility. It’s our most versatile class. Get more out of life…get Active!

GROUP CENTERGY (GC): Grow longer and stronger as you explore this 60-minute journey of yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi movements. Uplifting music, group dynamics and supportive instructors will enable you to center your energy, reduce stress and even smile.

GROUP KICK (GK) is an electric fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements that will kick your cardio to the next fitness level while defining and shaping your body and self confidence! Energetic music, awesome instructors and a group environment will keep you punching, kicking and smiling!

  • Group Kick Express (GKX) is a 45-minute version of the 60-minute class

GROUP POWER (GP) is your hour of Power! This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.

GROUP RIDE (GR):  This 60-minute cycling program is geared for anyone who can ride a bike. Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. Motivating music, awesome instructors and an inspiring group environment lets you Ride On!

  • Group Ride Express (GRX) is a 45-minute version of the 60-minute class

GROUP STEP (GS): Utilizing the step in varying positions, this compelling 60 minute cardio program strengthens and shapes the lower body one step at a time. Energetic music and motivating instructors create this spunky experience. Step this way!

  • Group Step Express (GSX) is a 45-minute version of the 60-minute class

PILATES uses full body movements that simultaneously stretch and strengthen the core muscles, improve alignment and focus breathing, all without adding bulk to your frame.

ON THE BALL (OTB) Perfect for the new, rehabbing or senior exerciser, OTB is a total body strengthen-and-stretch class that incorporates the stability ball for all exercises. This effective 60-minute class removes the strain of extended standing or lying down. 

YOGALATES As the name implies, Yogalates is a combination of yoga and Pilates. The union of these popular disciplines provides core strength training with the gentle, basic stretching we all need.

YOGA makes the body strong and flexible while improving the function of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal systems. (Limited yoga mats are provided, however we recommend all participants bring their own or purchase one at the CW Boutique.

ZUMBA is a dynamic, 60-minute Latin dance-inspired program designed to help you tone, sculpt and burn fat while having a blast. Called a “fitness-party” and perfect for all fitness levels, Zumba will have you shaking your bon-bon!
